The extension of the boarding system with an inversión of 30 millions of USD, has the aim of reach , with the current installations , a boarding anual capacity of six millions of tons  by the implementation of a new ship loader, designed for a capacity of  1500 tons per hour , and a system of conveyor belts, with more than 1500 m, that will  receive the copper concentrate of the two main mining companies of the country ( Codelco and Angloamerican)
